**This is something new for Clementon Updates. Unlike all our other posts this did not originate from the Clementon Borough website. This is an independent update we think to be of great interest to the residents of Clementon.**
On Thursday July 9th at 6:30pm the Clementon Joint Land Use Board will be voting on a new ordinance that will prohibit the construction of data centers in the borough. This ordinance will help protect our land, water, and air from the harmful impacts of data center operation. Specifically the ordinance will add “Data Centers” to our current zoning’s list of prohibited uses.
To voice your support for this ordinance you can attend the upcoming meeting of the Joint Land Use Board on Thursday July 9th at 6:30pm in the Municipal Building (rear entrance)
