PART TIME FIRE PREVENTION SPECIALIST
The Clementon Bureau of Fire Safety has a position opening for a Fire Prevention Specialist. Starting salary range of $2500.00 to $10,500 annually.
Applicants Requirements:
- Must be a citizen of the United States
- Must be 21 years of age
- Must have graduated high school, vocational school, or possess an approved equivalency certificate (GED)
- Must have a current active Fire Inspector certification issued by the New Jersey Division of Fire Safety. Copy of your certification with your application. Failure will result in ineligibility.
- Must Possess a valid New Jersey Driver’s License
- Must have minimum 3 years of municipal or City fire department experience
- Must have /or acquire within 1 year a IAAI or NJ AG Fire Investigator certification.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, to include mandatory evening office hours for the public, weekends for public relations events or projects, weekdays for inspections, holidays if needed to complete your hours for the week.
- Must work 10 hours a week (2 hours mandatory Office hours, 8 hours on the street)
- Under direction inspects buildings and premises to identify and eliminate fire hazards and enforce the provisions of relevant fire safety codes and related regulations; does related work as required by the Fire Official.
